The statement contradicts data from multiple U.S. government agencies and research organizations. The National Institute of Justice reports that since 1990, far-right extremists killed over 520 people in ideologically motivated attacks. Far-left extremists killed 78 people during the same period.
The Anti-Defamation League tracks extremist-related killings annually. In some recent years, 100% of these deaths came from far-right perpetrators. The FBI and Department of Homeland Security consistently identify white supremacists and anti-government extremists as the deadliest domestic threats.
These numbers measure actual killings, not online rhetoric or threats. The distinction matters when evaluating claims about political violence.
