Asmongold voiced support for impeaching and prosecuting members of the Trump administration if they’re found to be covering up information related to Jeffrey Epstein.
In a livestream clip getting passed around online, the content creator argued that government officials involved in suppressing or redacting relevant files should face serious legal consequences.
The conservative streamer was reacting to a discussion on Hasan’s channel. In a rare instance of their views aligning, Asmongold agreed vehemently with HasanAbi and his guest Ro Khanna.
The discussion emerged amid ongoing public attention toward the Epstein Files, the documents kept by Jeffrey Epstein and his partner Ghislaine Maxwell regarding their dealings with celebrities and politicians. As details of the files emerged over the years, several high profile figures such as the former Prince Andrew have been implicated in the sex trafficking of women and minors.
One of Trump’s second term promises was the wholesale release of the Epstein Files, something that his Attorney General subsequently denied even existed when his administration came to power in early 2025. The constant redactions and obstructions to the files being released has angered many MAGA voters, some of whom have expressed doubts about Trump’s ability to “drain the swamp” in Washington given his apparent connections.
Asmongold and the cracking MAGA coalition
The clip also captured a moment where Asmongold responded to Rep. Ro Khanna discussing how he cracked the “MAGA coalition.” Asmongold countered that “the only person who cracked it was Trump.”
This isn’t a new stance for the streamer, who has called for the files to be released for many years, but it does expose a rift in Trump’s base. Asmongold has endorsed far-right talking points in the past, and was a vocal supporter of Trump before the election. He even went so far to agree with the suggestion that any individual redacting the files should be impeached.
