Streamer CeceFPS lost at least one brand partnership this week after a Marvel Rivals content creator tournament spiraled into accusations of bullying and player removal.

The controversy centers on a $40,000 prize pool tournament where CeceFPS served as team captain. During practice scrims, teammate Kingsman pushed for a competitive team composition and asked player Zazzastack to switch off Black Widow. Kingsman warned the team that opponents would run triple support strategies and their current setup wouldn’t work.

The request became a flashpoint. Zazzastack was reportedly playing on 200 ping and preferred Black Widow as her main character. Kingsman offered to swap roles himself to accommodate a better composition, but the team refused.

What happened next escalated quickly. CeceFPS and other teammates reportedly mocked Kingsman for taking the tournament too seriously and “ruining the vibes.” Multiple sources claim he was ridiculed for being “broke” and caring about winning because he needed prize money for college expenses.

CeceFPS then complained to tournament organizers, characterizing Kingsman’s behavior as harassment. He was removed from the team and tournament. A Google Doc circulated among organizers allegedly outlined claims of Kingsman being “toxic” to justify the removal.

The team went on to finish near-last in the tournament with a 1–8 record.

After the event, Kingsman posted a YouTube video explaining his side. CeceFPS responded with multiple versions of an apology on Twitter. Other involved players, including Zazzastack and her boyfriend Kaplunkk, also issued statements.

Then brands started moving. At least one company that had previously partnered with CeceFPS publicly distanced itself from her, stating it had been made aware of her actions. The company also indicated it was trying to contact Kingsman.

Some clarification emerged about the nature of the lost partnership. The relationship may have been affiliate-based rather than a traditional paid sponsorship, meaning CeceFPS promoted the brand through discount codes rather than receiving guaranteed payments. Still, the company’s public statement marks a clear break.
