A new mod for Crimson Desert has launched on Nexus Mods that essentially adds a full character creator to the PC version of the game. The mod allows players to redesign protagonist Kliff with extensive customization options that rival dedicated RPG character creators.
The mod packs 98 face presets and 159 hairstyles into the game. It also includes armor resizing adjustments to better fit custom character builds and adds new animations to the mix.
While the mod only lets players create a custom female character for now, a male version could be on the way and release later.
The modder appears to have hooked the system into Crimson Desert‘s existing barber feature that unlocks later in the game. This means the mod builds on top of the game’s limited base customization rather than creating an entirely new interface from scratch.
The mod is available exclusively for PC through Nexus Mods. Console players on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S can’t use it without official mod support from Pearl Abyss.
