Emiru went public with screenshots during a recent livestream that she says show Mizkif messaged her repeatedly for months after their relationship ended.
The Twitch streamer displayed a series of direct messages she attributed to Mizkif that span multiple months following their breakup earlier this year. The screenshots show lengthy messages asking to talk, extended apologies, and repeated attempts to reach out despite receiving no responses from Emiru.
Emiru described the pattern of contact as harassment. She told viewers she had been keeping “receipts” to document what she called controlling behavior after their split.
The messages included multiple variations of requests to talk and reconcile. Some referenced jealousy over viewership numbers and events. One message asked whether Emiru had any “recordings” and stated “I’m going to assume there is no recording,” which she framed as an attempt to manage potential evidence.
Emiru also pointed to one particularly long apology message that she believes was AI-generated. She displayed results from an AI-detection tool and noted stylistic patterns like frequent em dashes. She acknowledged these tools aren’t definitive proof but said the AI angle wasn’t her main point—the sustained pattern of unwanted contact was.
The stream marked the first time Emiru publicly confirmed the relationship. While both streamers are part of the Austin creator scene and frequently appeared in content together, they had never officially disclosed they were dating.
Mizkif co-founded One True King in 2019 and remains one of Twitch’s most-watched variety streamers. He previously faced major controversy in 2022 over his handling of sexual assault allegations involving another creator. He was temporarily removed from leadership at OTK before returning with reduced responsibilities.
Emiru joined OTK in 2022 and streams League of Leagues and variety content. The two worked in overlapping content circles and lived in the same creator community in Austin.
During the broadcast, Emiru also referenced other allegations including sexual assault, domestic abuse, stalking, and threats of blackmail. Those claims were mentioned but not detailed with the same level of documentation as the messaging pattern.
What happens next
As of now, Mizkif has not publicly responded to the screenshots or Emiru’s characterization of the messages as harassment.
Both streamers are affiliated with OTK, which may face pressure to address the situation. Twitch’s Off-Service Conduct policy allows the platform to take action on serious off-platform behavior that affects user safety.
The breakup reportedly occurred in May, with the messages shown dating from the months that followed.
