A fan repeatedly slammed his head into a restaurant window during IShowSpeed’s livestream yesterday, cracking the glass before running away. It happened while the YouTuber was eating inside a Gold Star Chili location.
Video footage shows the male fan outside the restaurant headbutting the window at least twice to get Speed’s attention. The glass visibly cracked but didn’t shatter completely. Diners sitting near the window stayed in their seats as it all played out.
The headbutter immediately fled after damaging the window. Speed told viewers he would cover the repair costs, and multiple sources confirm he paid the restaurant for the damage.
Police arrived shortly after to provide an escort for the streamer. Officers also arrested several people who had climbed onto the building’s roof, though reports differ on whether they caught the window-cracking fan.
The whole thing shows the chaos that often follows IShowSpeed during his IRL streams. The 19-year-old YouTuber has over 20 million subscribers and regularly draws massive crowds when broadcasting in public. Fans track his location through the stream and show up uninvited—a practice known as stream sniping.
This isn’t the first time Speed’s public appearances have led to property damage or police involvement. His high-energy streams frequently attract hundreds of fans who overwhelm businesses and create safety concerns for staff and customers.
