FaZe Rain made a serious claim during a recent stream. The original FaZe member claimed he left the organization because of what he called a “pedo” within its ranks.
The vague accusation immediately sparked speculation that Rain was referring to FaZe Banks. But Banks quickly fired back on X, stating the allegation wasn’t about him. He identified Thomas “Temperrr” Oliveira as the person Rain meant.
Rain then went live again and explicitly named Temperrr. He alleged that Temperrr told him about having a threesome with a 16-year-old girl. According to Rain, this conversation happened about two years ago, with Temperrr describing an encounter from “about a year prior.”
Banks pushed back against parts of Rain’s account. He said he wasn’t present for any such admission from Temperrr. Banks also stated that when confronted on a call, Temperrr denied any wrongdoing.
Rain accused Banks of lying about not knowing. He claimed Banks had been aware of the allegation for years. Banks maintains he never witnessed Temperrr make any such confession, but that he does remember the conversation where Temperrr brings up 17-year-old girls.
No evidence has been presented to support Rain’s claims. There are no screenshots, messages, or documentation. The alleged victim hasn’t been identified. No police reports have been cited.
The legal implications remain unclear without knowing where and when the alleged conduct occurred. Age of consent laws vary across the United States, ranging from 16–18 depending on the state.
Temperrr has publicly responded, not once, but twice to the allegations. FaZe Clan hasn’t issued any statement about whether they’re investigating the claims.
The controversy hits FaZe at a sensitive time. The organization has been pushing a brand revival with new talent like Plaqueboymax, StableRonaldo, and YourRAGE. Banks has been leading sponsorship efforts and public positioning for this “New FaZe” era.
This latest drama adds to FaZe’s troubled history with controversies. The organization weathered the 2021 “Save the Kids” token scandal and various other creator disputes over the years.
