Forsen’s latest Minecraft speedrun attempt ended in immediate disaster after a textbook execution failure. The streamer placed a boat to safely descend a drop without taking fall damage. Then he completely missed it and died on impact.
The death was particularly brutal because the run had exceptional luck. Forsen spawned directly at a Nether fortress with a bastion roughly 100 blocks away.
Fortresses provide blaze rods needed to craft Eyes of Ender. Bastions offer gold for piglin bartering, which can yield Ender pearls. Having both structures close together can shave minutes off a run.
Boats are a standard safety tool in Minecraft speedrunning. Players place them at the bottom of tall drops and land inside them to negate all fall damage. The trick requires precise timing and positioning.
Miss the boat and you take full damage. Early in a run with no armor, that usually means instant death.
When perfect seeds meet imperfect execution
Forsen has been grinding Minecraft speedruns for long stretches throughout his streaming career. But after xQc finally beat his record lately, he’s been locked in again.
The Swedish streamer’s Minecraft sessions are known for long marathon streams filled with repeated attempts. His deadpan reactions to run-ending mistakes have become a staple of his content.
