Forsen’s latest League of Legends stream delivered a masterclass in how one bad decision can destroy an entire game. Playing as Briar in a Gold-ranked match, the Swedish streamer fired off his champion’s long-range ultimate ability at an enemy champion positioned near their base.
The problem with Briar’s ultimate is that it forces you to leap directly to whoever you hit. No take-backs. Forsen’s target was standing right next to the enemy fountain, and the ability dragged him straight into instant death from the fountain’s damage.
As his death timer started ticking, Forsen frantically danger-pinged his teammates to back off. The game was now four vs. five, and any fight would be suicide. His team had other plans.
Despite the warning pings lighting up their screens, Forsen’s four remaining teammates pushed forward near mid lane. The enemy team collapsed on them. Within seconds, all four were dead. Ace for the enemy team.
The score before this sequence showed Forsen at 15/15/16, painting a picture of an already chaotic game. But this particular play turned what was a back-and-forth bloodbath into a decisive enemy advantage.
Briar’s kit is built around forced aggression. Her ultimate, Certain Death, lives up to its name when used carelessly. It locks onto an enemy from massive range, but once it connects, you’re going for a ride whether you like it or not. Experienced Briar players know to check their target’s position before committing.
The fountain death followed by team wipe gave Forsen’s opponents the opening they needed to close out the game. One misclick turned into five deaths and a lost match.
