Sebastian “Forsen” Fors secured his first PUBG win in roughly 12 months during a stream this week. The match ended with four kills and a “Winner Winner Chicken Dinner” that sent the streamer and his chat into elated celebration.
Fortunately, the win came during his first game of the day. Viewers noted this likely meant fewer stream snipers had time to queue into his lobby, giving Forsen a rare window to play under more normal conditions.
Stream sniping has turned Forsen’s PUBG sessions into a completely different game than what most players experience. Viewers regularly join his matches by watching his stream in real-time, using his broadcast to track his location and either hunt him down or create chaos. Some estimate over 70 players typically queue snipe him, making a standard public match functionally unplayable.
The winning match itself featured several bizarre moments that only happen in Forsen’s sniper-heavy lobbies. A stream sniper crashed a plane directly into the ground, resulting in Forsen receiving a revive kit that proved crucial for his survival. In another odd turn, he was almost fooled by fake footsteps sent in via a text-to-speech donation on the stream.
Several instances of strange and funny behaviour that could only come from snipers have defined Forsen’s streams. One time, a Vtuber joined Forsen’s PUBG lobby, blasting extremely loud audio over the in-game proximity chat.
But when the final kill secured his victory against the stream snipers, Forsen’s shout of “YESSSS!” could be heard loud and clear. Spreading across social media, many viewers celebrated what they’ve dubbed his “annual victory.”
