The dramatic move came during a heated moment on stream where Hasan called both himself and Bad Empanada “failures.” He didn’t stop there. The streamer went after viewers who treat politics like entertainment drama, which is in the very least, ironic.
“Political action is just yelling in a Twitch chat,” Hasan said, calling this behavior “morally repugnant.” He criticized fans who wear politics “as a sleeve to advance drama” instead of engaging in meaningful action.

This marks a sharp turn in their rocky relationship. Hasan has flip-flopped on Bad Empanada for months. He’s called him “unhinged” in the past and vowed not to watch his content on stream. But when it serves his narrative, he’s turned around and watches BE’s videos on stream. Sometimes within the same week.
The two have clashed before over various political positions and streaming guests.
