IShowSpeed had to make an emergency exit from his livestream after eating cow blood yesterday, raw meat today, and drinking strong Ethiopian coffee during his ongoing Africa travel tour.
The YouTube streamer’s bodyguards urged him to get off camera and head to a restroom. Speed complied and disappeared from view for several minutes.
But the stream didn’t stop. While Speed dealt with his stomach issues, a lookalike dubbed “Zimbabwe Speed” by viewers appeared on camera to fill the dead air. The stand-in kept the broadcast running until Speed could return.
This happened shortly after Speed consumed raw meat on stream as part of his usual travel content approach. He’d also been drinking traditional Ethiopian coffee throughout the day, which viewers noted is particularly strong. Some commenters mentioned he’d consumed cow blood during a previous day of streaming as well.
The bodyguards’ quick intervention likely saved Speed from a more embarrassing on-stream moment. IRL broadcasts don’t have the luxury of pause buttons, which is exactly why the Zimbabwe Speed stand-in became necessary.
