A clip from iShowSpeed’s Zimbabwe livestream shows the YouTuber urgently warning a young fan about basic safety after someone appeared to be trying to lure the child into their car with ice cream.
This happened during Speed’s on-the-ground travel content in Zimbabwe. Speed encountered a young white fan with a Zimbabwean accent who identified himself as “White Speed.”
When it became clear that someone was trying to get the child into a vehicle by offering ice cream, Speed immediately stepped in with a firm warning. He told the kid not to get into a stranger’s car under any circumstances.
The child’s response made the moment even more concerning. Instead of taking the warning seriously, the kid dismissed the danger by saying he likes ice cream. Speed continued pressing the safety message, clearly frustrated that his warning wasn’t landing.
Speed’s international travel streams regularly draw massive crowds and create unpredictable situations. When a major creator arrives in a new location, the chaos can escalate quickly with fans approaching from all directions and opportunists trying to exploit the moment for attention or access.
These IRL streaming environments create real safety concerns, especially when kids get caught up in the excitement. Fans can run into traffic, get separated from guardians, or encounter strangers who see an opportunity in the chaos.
