Jack Doherty approached PeachJars with a camera during TwitchCon weekend in San Diego and defended using an anti-gay slur on film.
The encounter took place at a hotel near the convention. Doherty was filming as he referenced the slur and claimed he could say it because it was “just a word.” PeachJars immediately confronted him. She told him he was “full of hate” and tried to walk away.
Doherty followed her while continuing to film. He reportedly said “nothing’s going to happen to me, that’s the problem” as he pressed for a reaction. Other creators including Cyr and Wake were nearby. They moved closer as the exchange continued. Doherty eventually backed off without further escalation.
PeachJars shared the footage on social media. Doherty is known for confrontational IRL content. He gained prominence through prank videos, provocative stunts designed to go viral, and managing young OnlyFans models.
His past controversies include a high-speed McLaren crash where he continued filming while his passenger was injured. He has also been involved in multiple altercations at events and parties.
Users online claimed Doherty was not officially attending TwitchCon and was instead approaching streamers around hotel areas. His current platform status varies across services.
TwitchCon’s Code of Conduct prohibits harassment and hate speech at official venues. The encounter took place in a hotel setting outside the convention floor itself.
