A swan violently charged Juliakins during a lakeside IRL stream yesterday. The bird struck the streamer multiple times with its wings while she was in shallow water near a jetski.
It happened while Juliakins was streaming outdoors with fellow streamer MisterArther and another companion. They were enjoying time at the lake when the swan approached and immediately showed aggressive behavior.
In the clip captured by MisterArther, the swan can be seen flaring its wings and moving directly toward the group. The bird made contact with Juliakins, hitting her with powerful wing strikes as she tried to back away.
“Guys, listen—don’t attack it,” MisterArther repeatedly shouted during the encounter. He urged everyone to stay calm and avoid hitting the bird back. His quick thinking helped prevent the situation from escalating further.
The group’s escape was complicated by their jetski getting stuck at the worst possible moment. This left them unable to quickly leave the area while the swan continued its territorial display.
MisterArther later explained the proper way to handle swan attacks. “Stay calm and quiet but stand tall. If a swan attacks, grab it by the neck and push it away to redirect it, not injure it,” he wrote.
Swans are known for their territorial nature, especially during nesting season. They view humans near their habitat as threats and will defend their space aggressively. In water, swan attacks pose real danger—there have been documented cases of people drowning after being knocked off balance by the large birds.
Wildlife experts recommend maintaining distance from swans and avoiding their nesting areas. If confronted, people should slowly retreat while keeping an object like a paddle between themselves and the bird.
The stream encounter ended without injuries to anyone involved. After the group stopped trying to push it away, the swan calmed down and swam off. The jetski was eventually freed, allowing the streamers to leave the area safely.
Juliakins, known for her fitness content and IRL streams, has trained in MMA according to community discussions. However, she wisely followed MisterArther’s advice to avoid fighting the bird.
The exact location wasn’t confirmed, though some viewers speculated it occurred in Austin, Texas, where both streamers are based. Swan encounters at public lakes are becoming more common as urban areas expand into wildlife habitats.
