Kanel Joseph ended up in serious danger during a recent IRL stream when a truck he was sitting on suddenly drove away with him still attached. The streamer had positioned himself on the rear bumper area of what appeared to be a parked truck before it unexpectedly began moving through city streets.
As the vehicle rolled into traffic, Kanel’s playful mood quickly turned to panic. He repeatedly screamed “I’m dead” while gripping the back of the truck as it picked up speed. His desperate shouts grew louder as the truck continued down the street toward what appeared to be a busier roadway.
The cameraman kept filming from the sidewalk as Kanel yelled for him to “hurry up.” At one point, the camera panned to nearby rental scooters, suggesting the filmer briefly considered giving chase. Instead, he continued recording as the truck carried Kanel further away.
IRL streaming often puts creators in unpredictable situations, but riding on the exterior of a moving vehicle crosses into genuinely dangerous territory. Even at low speeds, falling from a moving vehicle can cause severe injuries including head trauma and broken bones.
The available footage cuts off without showing how or where Kanel dismounted from the truck. Whether he jumped off, waited for a red light, or found another way to escape remains unknown. The streamer has not yet addressed what happened or confirmed his safety following the dangerous ride.
