Karmine Corp Blue took down Los Ratones in Week 1 of the LEC 2026 Versus stage, dropping the star-studded roster to 0-2 early in the competition. The match swung on a massive jungle performance gap and critical mistakes around Baron that turned a winnable game into a loss.

KCB jungler Yukino dominated Los Ratones’ Velja throughout the match, ending the game over 100 CS ahead. Velja repeatedly tried to invade enemy camps and steal resources at bad times, getting caught out before key objectives and bleeding tempo across the map.

The game looked recoverable for Los Ratones until the Baron setup went wrong. Velja got picked in the enemy jungle near Baron, and shortly after, ADC Crownie was caught in front of the pit. The double catch handed KCB full map control and the ability to close out the game.

KCB mid laner Kamiloo delivered multiple fight-winning Orianna ults that kept swinging teamfights in his team’s favor. The pick proved decisive against Los Ratones’ composition, which featured Nemesis on Ryze and Velja on Jarvan IV—both comfort picks the team has leaned on repeatedly.

Los Ratones ran Corki and Nami in bot lane but lost the matchup into KCB’s Yunara and Alistar pairing. The bot lane disadvantage compounded the jungle gap, limiting Los Ratones’ ability to contest vision and objectives.

One bright spot for Los Ratones was top laner Thebausffs, who showed more proactivity than expected. He roamed mid multiple times and attempted to create plays even as his team struggled to find footing.

With the loss, Los Ratones sits at 0-2 in the Versus stage, turning up the pressure on a roster that features some of Europe’s most recognizable names. The team includes former LEC star Nemesis making his return to competitive play and veteran support Rekkles, all under coach YamatoCannon.
