Raja Jackson stormed into a wrestling ring during a live Kick stream and delivered over 20 punches to an unconscious performer’s head. The attack happened at what viewers identified as a KnokX Pro wrestling event in Los Angeles.
The violent assault came after a wrestler lightly tapped Jackson with an empty beer can earlier in the show. This was part of the scripted entertainment—the wrestler even asked Jackson if he would “sell it,” wrestling terminology for pretending something hurt. Jackson apparently didn’t understand or care about the difference between performance and reality.
On his stream, Jackson was heard saying he would “get his get back” for the beer can tap. He then entered the ring and executed what looked like a real MMA takedown, slamming the wrestler’s head into the mat. The performer went limp immediately.
Jackson didn’t stop there. He mounted the unconscious wrestler and threw punch after punch directly to his face and head. Blood became visible as the assault continued. The wrestler never moved or defended himself. A referee waved his arms frantically but didn’t physically intervene. The crowd seemed confused about whether this was part of the show.
After being removed from the venue, Jackson received a phone call on his still-running stream. The caller told him the wrestler was still unconscious and “barely breathing” while waiting for paramedics. Some audio suggested the victim had “flatlined.” Jackson’s response was simply “my bad.”
The son of former UFC light heavyweight champion Quinton “Rampage” Jackson has MMA training but is not a professional wrestler. He apparently didn’t understand that wrestling is choreographed entertainment where performers work together to create a show. Or he understood and didn’t care.
Kick terminated Jackson’s channel shortly after the attack. The platform pulled all videos and clips of the attack. The victim’s identity and medical status have not been officially confirmed.
Rampage Jackson saw the footage while on another stream. He initially asked if it was a “hardcore” wrestling show, trying to understand what happened. His demeanor changed when he realized the severity of his son’s actions. That stream ended quickly.
Wrestling promotions like KnokX Pro, which is associated with WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi, rely on trust between performers. Everyone agrees to work together safely. When someone breaks that trust with real violence, the results can be catastrophic.
California law enforcement has not announced any arrests or charges at the time of writing. Depending on the victim’s injuries and Jackson’s apparent premeditation, he could face serious criminal charges ranging from assault to attempted murder.
