Twitch streamer Lacari was banned from the platform following a moment where he accidentally displayed a notepad file on stream containing web links.
The notepad appeared briefly on screen during a recent broadcast. Viewers quickly typed in the visible URLs to see where they led.
According to multiple viewers who accessed the links, they directed to an online folder containing adult content. Some viewers alleged the folder included illegal material involving minors and other prohibited content.

Lacari didn’t immediately end his stream after realizing the leak. Instead, he continued broadcasting for approximately seven hours while attempting to address the situation and defend himself.
Viewers reported that his extended on-stream response made the situation worse. Rather than logging off, he engaged with chat about the allegations and tried to explain what had been shown.
Twitch moved quickly to suspend the channel. The ban came within hours of what happened, which is notably faster than the platform’s typical enforcement timeline.
Twitch’s Community Guidelines prohibit sharing or displaying pornographic content on stream. The rules are especially strict regarding any content involving minors in sexual contexts. Even showing a link that enables access to prohibited material can violate platform policy.
It remains unclear whether the ban is temporary or permanent. Twitch typically doesn’t disclose ban duration publicly unless the creator shares details from their enforcement email. And we all know Lacari isn’t about to share that anytime soon.
