Former Fnatic mid laner Nemesis has announced the formation of Witchcraft, a new competitive League of Legends team set to compete in EMEA Masters. The roster features several high-profile veterans alongside a younger jungler.
The lineup includes Bwipo in top lane, Velja in the jungle, Nemesis in mid, Crownie as ADC, and Rekkles rounding out the bot lane. YamatoCannon is attached to the project in a coaching capacity.
Witchcraft will enter EMEA Masters through the NLC’s fourth seed pathway, which was created for teams connected to the LEC Versus streamer-team format. This means the team bypasses a traditional regional league split and goes directly to the European Tier-2 championship.
The roster composition has turned heads in the competitive scene. Bwipo brings years of international experience from his time with Fnatic and later North American teams. Rekkles remains one of Europe’s most recognizable names after a long career at the top level. Crownie adds another LEC-experienced marksman to what reads as an unusually strong lineup for Tier-2 competition.
According to community discussions, Nemesis confirmed the team came together quickly and has already begun scrimming. The project marks a return to official competition for several players who have spent recent time streaming or outside the professional circuit.
EMEA Masters typically showcases prospects and returning veterans from Europe’s regional leagues. Witchcraft represents a new approach where established names enter through alternative qualification routes rather than grinding through a full ERL season.
The Nemesis-Bwipo pairing reunites two former Fnatic teammates who competed together during the organization’s 2019–2020 LEC campaigns. That familiarity could provide an advantage as the roster prepares for their EMEA Masters debut.
