Sodapoppin directly stated he believes HasanAbi used a shock collar on his dog during a viral training clip. The statement came during a recent podcast episode on Nmplol’s Twitch channel.

His co-host Nick “Nmplol” Polom took a different approach. He said he hasn’t watched the clip in question and refused to offer an opinion on whether the device delivered a shock or vibration.

The two veteran streamers were discussing footage that has circulated since early October showing Hasan shocking his dog Kaya with an e-collar remote. In the clip, Hasan appears to press the remote while enforcing a “place” command that keeps Kaya stationary on a dog bed during his stream.

HasanAbi has previously told his audience he uses only the vibrate function on the e-collar as a training tool. He has disputed claims that he used static stimulation and framed the stationary periods as beneficial rest for his large-breed dog.

The difference in approach between the two streamers stood out during the segment. Sodapoppin made his position clear while Nmplol carefully avoided taking sides despite bringing up the topic himself.
