Multiple gunshots rang out during Squeeze’s IRL stream last night as the Kick streamer walked near an Austin gas station. The terrifying moment was captured live on camera.
Squeeze was streaming outside what viewers identified as a Citgo gas station when gunfire erupted on the nearby sidewalk. The streamer quickly moved away before the shooting even started, saying, “I don’t know if I want to get involved.”
According to viewers who watched it happen live, the shooters were on the sidewalk firing at another group visible in the frame. One commenter estimated Squeeze was only about five feet away from the line of fire.
The clip shows Squeeze’s camera pointed downward during parts of the shooting. Multiple gunshots can be heard in quick succession before the streamer retreats to safety. No injuries are visible in the footage.
Viewers claimed the shooting happened at a gas station near Austin’s Sixth Street and I-35, reportedly across from Austin Police Department headquarters.
The area has a reputation among locals for frequent incidents. “So many shootings always happen at that gas station,” one viewer commented. Another noted the irony of violence occurring so close to police headquarters.
