Streamer Clavicular was arrested on assault-related charges stemming from an alleged physical altercation with influencer Jenny Popach. The situation reportedly occurred at Clavicular’s residence about a month ago.
According to reports, Clavicular allegedly held Jenny Popach while his girlfriend struck her during the altercation. The girlfriend also reportedly faces an arrest warrant in connection with the same situation.
The arrest comes as Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission is separately investigating Clavicular for a completely unrelated situation. Video circulated online showing him firing a gun at an alligator while livestreaming.
It’s worth nothing that the alligator in the footage is already dead. The animal looked like a floating carcass rather than a live gator.
Even shooting at a dead alligator can carry legal consequences in Florida. The state has strict regulations around handling wildlife remains. Unlawful discharge of a firearm near waterways can also violate local ordinances regardless of what was being shot at.
Florida takes its alligator protections seriously. The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission regulates all interactions with gators including handling carcasses. Possessing alligator parts without proper permits can result in criminal charges.
Despite some confusion online, the assault arrest and the wildlife investigation are two separate matters. The arrest relates to the alleged fight with Jenny Popach. The FWC investigation concerns the alligator shooting clip.
