Lacari posted a public apology on X after viewers spotted a link during his recent livestream that appeared to lead to content containing titles suggestive of child sexual abuse material.
This happened when Lacari opened Notepad on screen during a broadcast. Viewers captured the moment and shared screenshots showing what appeared to be a saved link visible in the application.
According to viewer reports, the link led to a page or directory listing containing multiple file entries. Users claimed some titles lower in the list described CSAM, though the exact nature of what was shown remains disputed in online discussions.

In his apology statement, Lacari acknowledged the link was visible and admitted to a critical mistake. He continued streaming after the Notepad reveal rather than immediately ending the broadcast.
“I have never consumed this type of content nor do I think it’s acceptable,” Lacari wrote. He described his decision to keep streaming as an attempt to downplay the severity of what happened, calling it “deceptive” and saying he regrets it.
He acknowledged that the link gave access to abusive material and said trivializing it on stream “is not ok and can lead to real harm.”
Lacari announced he has admitted himself into a 30-day Porn Addiction Recovery Program. He described it as involving therapy and treatment, mentioning he’ll be able to work out during the program.
The streamer said he’s taking an indefinite hiatus from livestreaming to focus on recovery. He stated he wants to “hopefully contribute a net-positive to society” moving forward.
A confusing defense
The apology has drawn criticism for its mixed messaging. Lacari denies ever consuming CSAM while simultaneously entering treatment for porn addiction and stepping away from streaming indefinitely.
Many viewers questioned how porn addiction treatment relates to the specific allegations, noting that CSAM is fundamentally different from legal adult content consumption.
