Team Liquid is likely signing top laner Park “Morgan” Gi-tae from OK BRION and jungler Brandon “Josedeodo” Villegas for the 2026 LCS season, according to a report from Sheep Esports. The moves are described as advanced but not yet finalized.
Neither Team Liquid, OK BRION, nor the players have confirmed the transfers publicly. Standard contract approvals and visa processing would still need to be completed before either signing becomes official.
Morgan has been OK BRION’s starting top laner since late 2021. Before that, he played for Hanwha Life Esports and competed at Worlds 2021. The Korean veteran is viewed as a stable, reliable top laner in the LCK, capable of holding his own against elite competition while consistently outperforming weaker opponents. His champion pool centers on meta bruisers and tanks, and he’s built a reputation for solid weak-side fundamentals.
Josedeodo burst onto the international scene at Worlds 2020 with Rainbow7, representing Latin America. He then joined FlyQuest in the LCS from 2021–2022 before returning to the LLA. The Argentine jungler brings prior North American experience and has remained a top performer in his home region.
The signings would reshape Team Liquid’s topside heading into 2026. Morgan would occupy one of TL’s two import slots as a Korean player. Josedeodo may qualify as a domestic player under LCS residency rules, though this has not been officially confirmed.
It remains unclear whether Morgan is under contract with OK BRION for 2026. If he is, Team Liquid would need to negotiate a buyout. Morgan has been a franchise cornerstone for OK BRION, making his potential departure significant for the Korean organization.
The price of ambition
Team Liquid has historically invested heavily in roster construction, mixing elite imports with North American talent across multiple championship-winning lineups. An LCK-proven top laner paired with an experienced jungler who knows the LCS landscape would give the organization a strong foundation for domestic competition.
Sheep Esports is a known source for offseason roster reporting, though details can shift until contracts are signed. Players mentioned in reports don’t always end up where initial conversations suggest. Team Liquid’s remaining 2026 roster spots were not addressed in this report.
