Thebausffs has officially closed the book on his professional League of Legends career. Following Los Ratones’ elimination from competition, the streamer confirmed what many suspected from the start: this was always meant to be a one-year experiment.

“For me personally, I’m not playing pro anymore,” Baus stated. He explained he had planned to try professional play for just one year before stepping away. The timing stings though. “I’m sad we lost because I still feel like I have a little bit more in me,” he added.

The announcement marks the end of a unique chapter in competitive League. Los Ratones entered the scene as something different—a roster mixing content creators with competitive talent that managed to challenge established LEC teams. Their upset victory over G2 Esports became one of the split’s most talked-about moments.

Baus brought his signature off-meta style to the professional stage. His Gragas and Kled picks gave fans memorable moments, including a game-changing Kled ultimate against G2 that showcased his aggressive limit-testing approach. It was the kind of play that defined his entire pro stint—high-risk macro decisions that often looked chaotic but created massive pressure.

The shift from streaming to pro play came with sacrifices. Professional League demands structured practice schedules, coordinated team strategies, and meta-conforming picks. For someone who built a career on experimental solo queue gameplay and flexible streaming hours, the constraints were always going to be temporary.

Baus will return to full-time streaming where he first made his name. His unorthodox side-laning strategies and calculated aggression built him a massive following in solo queue. Without the demands of scrims and team commitments, he can return to the playstyle that made him popular.
