Players in Minecraft Build Battles are scarcely ever looking to be the next Picasso. However, Tyler1 managed to make a mockery of Santa Claus without even trying.
The League of Legends veteran was streaming a game of Build Battle on the Hypixel server, and a round came up with a ‘North Pole’ theme. In an attempt to create something Santa-adjacent, Tyler instead constructed an effigy of sand and redstone torches, presumably in an attempt to imitate skin.
When it came time to add the finishing touches, Tyler added a hat made from redstone blocks that ends in white wool blocks. However, these blocks on top of an upside-down beige T-shape look more member than merry.
Moreover, the figure being lit up with redstone torches produce an almost ritualistic impression, as if Tyler had created one of yesteryear’s monuments to Herobrine.
Tyler quickly erupted into laughter at his own handiwork, admitting that he could only hope for pity votes for his phallic creation.
A raunchy tradition
While this Tyler1 gameplay stream saw the good humor of someone accidentally creating something risque, Minecraft‘s young fanbase and Build Battle’s short time limit often produces edgy builds on purpose.
Servers like The Hive in particular see young teens try to build edgy creations, often off-topic to the Build Battle and sometimes hateful in nature. It’s not uncommon to see something explicit when trying to play Build Battle, regardless of server—even if the threat of moderation looms large.
