YouTuber WillyMacShow has reported Destiny to police after the streamer appeared to confirm in private messages that he kept materials connected to a young woman alleged to be underage.
The controversy erupted when WillyMacShow shared screenshots of a direct message exchange. In the DMs, Willy asked Destiny if he “still had the video” related to a young woman at the center of ongoing allegations. Destiny’s response read: “Depends on why you’re asking, but yes I created a copy of all our messages and everything when the court case started.”
WillyMacShow interpreted this as an admission that Destiny retained child sexual abuse material (CSAM). He filed a police report based on these messages.
The situation centers around a young woman often referred to online as “Rose,” who allegedly sold explicit content through Twitter and Discord. Some claim she was 17 at the time, though this hasn’t been independently verified. Screenshots circulating online show what appears to be a cloud storage folder containing approximately 60 GB of content attributed to her.
Destiny addressed the allegations on stream after the police report became public. He denied having the 60+ GB cache of videos, stating he only retained screenshots of conversations and a screenshot of the alleged content folder. He claims he preserved these materials on legal advice for a civil case and that he contacted federal authorities months ago.
“He says he got the clear from his lawyer and that he provided this information to the DOJ months ago,” one viewer noted about Destiny’s stream.
The conflicting accounts have sparked debate about what Destiny actually kept. His DM to Willy specifically mentions preserving “everything” after directly being asked about “the video.” But Destiny maintains he only saved screenshots and messages, not actual video files.
Legal experts generally advise that anyone who encounters potential CSAM should immediately report it to authorities without downloading or retaining copies. Evidence preservation in such cases is typically handled by law enforcement, not private parties. One commenter claiming to be a private investigator noted: “If it’s evidence related to the case then yes, it has to be preserved. But how that’s done matters.”
Some additional context has emerged from the ongoing drama. A figure named “Solo” allegedly informed Destiny months ago that the woman was underage, though this claim remains disputed. Commenters also say Destiny shared screenshots in a private Discord group while trying to identify or locate the young woman, though the exact content shared is unclear.
As of now, there’s no public confirmation of any investigation outcome or charges. WillyMacShow’s police report represents the only confirmed official action. Neither law enforcement nor the Department of Justice has made any public statements about the matter.
The situation highlights the dangerous territory content creators navigate when dealing with potentially illegal material, even when claiming to preserve it for legal purposes. Standard protocol calls for immediate reporting to authorities, who then handle any necessary evidence preservation through official channels.
