Xbox just revealed its September Game Pass lineup, and buried in the announcement is the news every Metroidvania fan has been waiting for. Hollow Knight: Silksong launches September 4 on Game Pass for Cloud, Console, and PC platforms.

The sequel to Team Cherry’s beloved 2017 indie hit arrives as a day-one addition to the service. Players will control Hornet through the kingdom of Pharloom, wielding her signature needle and silk-based abilities in what started as DLC before expanding into a full sequel.

But Silksong isn’t arriving alone. I Am Your Beast dropped today for Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S subscribers. This speedrun-focused FPS draws comparisons to Neon White with its emphasis on route optimization and chasing perfect runs through bite-sized levels.

Tomorrow brings even more action. Nine Sols lands September 3 on Xbox Series X|S, delivering what fans call a “Sekirovania” experience. Red Candle Games built this 2D platformer around precise parry mechanics and punishing boss fights that demand mastery of its deflection-based combat.

September 4 gets even busier with Cataclismo joining Silksong on PC Game Pass. Digital Sun’s castle-building strategy game blends tower defense with real-time tactics as players construct fortifications to withstand waves of enemies.

Family-friendly adventuring arrives September 10 when PAW Patrol World launches across Cloud, Console, and PC. The open-world game features co-op play perfect for younger gamers exploring Adventure Bay with their favorite rescue pups.

RoadCraft rounds out the additions on September 16 for Cloud and Xbox Series X|S. This sandbox builder focuses on crafting elaborate road networks and vehicles, offering a relaxing creative experience for players who prefer construction over combat.

Three titles are packing their bags on September 15. Wargroove 2 takes its turn-based tactical battles elsewhere, while We Love Katamari Reroll+ Royal Reverie rolls away with its remastered ball-rolling chaos. All You Need is Help also departs, so co-op puzzle fans should wrap up their achievements soon.
