Twitch suspended Asmongold’s zackrawrr channel from streaming. Users visiting the channel saw a notice stating the account “cannot stream at this time due to a violation of Twitch’s Community Guidelines.”
The suspension created confusion because the channel page remained visible, and past VODs stayed accessible. Some viewers on mobile reported not seeing the suspension notice at all while desktop users consistently saw the warning banner.
Twitch hasn’t publicly stated what triggered the suspension, but Asmongold said it was because he said he didn’t care about “opinions of illiterate third worlders.”
This appears to be a newer type of Twitch enforcement. Unlike traditional bans where channels become inaccessible, this format blocks the streamer from going live while keeping the channel page up. Chat also gets disabled but viewers can still browse past content.
Twitch rarely discloses specific violation details publicly. The platform uses temporary suspensions that can last anywhere from a few hours to several days depending on severity and enforcement history.
