Asmongold himself estimated the cost for Twitch at about $1m for just running the channel. While the number likely falls within the lower tens of thousands, Twitch undeniably misses out on significant monetization opportunities with this channel. As numbers from other streamers show Asmongold could monthly make $200,000 to $300,000 by showing ads on the channel.
Some fans are suggesting, Asmon should create a third channel to escape the partnership. Others are scratching their heads, wondering why Twitch doesn’t just slap ads on all big channels, partnered or not.
