Faker pulled out Anivia mid in Game four of T1’s best-of-five against KT Rolster and later said he “just laughed in disbelief” during the match. The performance featured precise zoning and crowd control that repeatedly shut down KT’s attempts to engage.

The Anivia pick into BDD’s Cassiopeia proved decisive. Faker landed a point-blank Q stun into E on the enemy mid laner near a dragon fight, executing the combo in a fraction of a second. His wall and Glacial Storm placement consistently prevented KT from completing their planned engages throughout the game.

Multiple high-level Anivia players reviewing the VOD highlighted the execution. At one point, Faker solo zoned four KT members with his abilities. BDD’s Cassiopeia couldn’t complete key combos, with Faker’s positioning and walls cutting off every angle.

Jungler Oner secured multiple contested 50/50 Smites against KT’s Cuzz around neutral objectives. The string of successful Smites proved pivotal for momentum. When asked about it, Oner joked “I thought everyone sucks, so I just did it myself,” before adding “Same,” in response to Faker’s comment. The team laughed together during the exchange.

The match featured clutch moments on both sides. Doran made a crucial play stopping Tahm Kench from completing a decisive knock-up. During a late fight, BDD’s Cassiopeia passive allegedly procced on Anivia instead of Gumayusi‘s Kalista, which may have affected the outcome.

The MVP moment

An MVP announcement after the game caused brief confusion. T1 players discussed internally whether Gumayusi or Oner would receive it. Oner expected the award for himself. Guest host Uzi delivered the announcement quickly without buildup, and Gumayusi looked surprised when his own name was called.

The team’s mood remained light throughout. During the final push, Faker trolled by walling his own minions, forcing Gumayusi to take extra tower shots. The series went to Game five, with T1 ultimately winning.
