Jian “Uzi” Zihao has been officially announced as the second player to enter Riot Games’ prestigious Hall of Legends. The former Royal Never Give Up AD Carry follows in the footsteps of Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok, who became the inaugural inductee earlier this year.
The Hall of Legends was established in 2024 to honor the extraordinary contributions of select League of Legends esports athletes. This exclusive club recognizes players not just for championship victories, but for their overall impact on the game, regional influence, and lasting legacy.
Uzi’s induction comes with special significance as he received personal congratulations from Faker himself. “Uzi, I heard that you are the second player to be inducted into the Hall of Legends. Congratulations! I hope you will continue to achieve great things, just like you did during your professional playing days,” said the T1 mid laner in his message to the Chinese star.
Beginning his professional journey in 2012, Uzi quickly established himself as one of the most mechanically gifted players in League of Legends history. His aggressive playstyle and technical mastery revolutionized the ADC position, with his Vayne and Kai’Sa performances becoming the stuff of legend.
Despite never capturing the World Championship trophy, Uzi’s resume boasts impressive achievements. He reached back-to-back Worlds finals in 2013 and 2014, claimed the Mid-Season Invitational title in 2018, and secured multiple LPL championships throughout his career with Royal Club and Royal Never Give Up.
Health issues forced Uzi’s retirement in 2020, though he has remained connected to the game through streaming and brief competitive returns. His legacy extends beyond titles, having inspired countless players with his relentless pursuit of perfection and game-changing approach to the AD Carry role.
After Uzi announced he won’t play next year, some fans noticed Leave has returned to EDG first team.

Nicknamed “The Puppy” early in his career, Uzi transformed into one of League’s most feared competitors. His inclusion in the Hall of Legends acknowledges what fans and competitors have long understood— that greatness in esports goes far beyond just championship counts. The induction celebrations will include commemorative in-game content, digital tributes, and special media coverage highlighting his storied career.
