Another unverified GTA 6 gameplay clip leaked online, and this one ends with the strongest story hint yet.
The footage follows Jason at a gas station in the Florida-inspired setting Rockstar has shown off in official trailers.
An older NPC stands next to a pickup truck plastered in bumper stickers. In the truck bed sits an open bathtub. He is pumping gasoline straight into it.
Things escalate fast. The pump hose behaves oddly, the NPC tries to get back to his truck, and a driving sequence follows. The NPC gets hit by the vehicle, with heavy ragdoll physics, a nasty impact sound, and visible injury.
The vehicle then crashes. There is deformation, a big explosion, and a slow-motion crash presentation, followed by a “Wasted” screen. Viewers assumed the tub of fuel in the back helped things along, though the footage doesn’t prove the explosion was tied to the cargo.
The Lucia line
The most interesting part comes at the end, when the objective “Return to Lucia” appears on screen. If genuine, it means the build contains a mission or objective referencing Lucia, and a moment where Jason is meant to head back to her.
That is all it means. Lucia isn’t visible in the clip. It doesn’t show she is playable in this build, and it doesn’t prove the source has the full story, the ending, or a finished version of the game.
For context, Rockstar has confirmed GTA 6 is set in the state of Leonida, with Vice City at its center, starring Lucia Caminos and Jason Duval. The studio previously dealt with a major leak in September 2022, when unfinished development footage went public after an unauthorized network intrusion.
