Every streaming list focuses on the “X biggest Twitch streamers,” but what many such write-ups have in common is that they lump creators together, focusing only on viewership. In doing so, they miss the regional stars quietly dominating their corners of the world.

Being “big” on Twitch isn’t just about global reach or even absolute numbers, it’s about commanding attention where it counts. Whether it’s a GTA V roleplayer from Brazil or a French variety streamer, regional influence can tell us just as much about Twitch’s landscape as global rankings.

Our latest research uses average viewer count as a starting point to identify the most popular Twitch streamers and categorizes the results both globally and by country. We’ve narrowed down our findings to the 20 biggest names, plus some honorary mentions with impressive regional influences.

The numbers show that Kai Cenat remains a content powerhouse and continues to dominate the American Twitch scene with an average of over 80,000 viewers.

Perhaps surprisingly, US content creators account for only a quarter of today’s biggest names on the platform. Germany and Brazil are next in line, with three streamers apiece, while France, Spain, and Ukraine each have two.

Even before diving into regional specifics, the global top twenty is fairly diverse, including streamers from nine countries. This variety underlines Twitch’s growing international presence and proofs that star creators can rise to the top from almost anywhere.

While Amazon’s streaming platform clearly made big strides in geographic diversity, there’s still a noticeable gap in another area: gender. None of the top 20 streamers are women, highlighting an ongoing imbalance that persists even as Twitch continues to expand its global reach.

Our method explained

To determine the ranking of biggest Twitch streamers globally and by country, we analyzed average viewer counts between January and April 2025. This approach offers a clearer picture of sustained popularity than momentary spikes in followers or one-off viral moments.

Only personality-driven creators were included—meaning no brand accounts, esports orgs, or promotional channels made the cut. To avoid outliers with artificially inflated averages, we excluded any creator who streamed for less than 24 total hours during the four-month period.

This snapshot focuses exclusively on Twitch and uses data sourced from Streams Charts. Viewer counts are based on global audiences but are segmented by the creators’ countries of origin.

Meet the global top 20

1. Kai Cenat (USA)

While a streamer first and foremost, Kai Cenat has gone beyond Twitch to become a mainstream cultural icon. Known for his high-energy, comedic style, he’s collaborated with dozens of celebrities like LeBron James, Snoop Dogg, and Nicki Minaj, further cementing his status in pop culture.

Kai’s high-effort content and all-around dedication helped him become the most-subscribed Twitch streamer twice to date. As of today, he’s the biggest streamer in the world.

During the first four months of 2025, Kai Cenat spent just under 335 hours—or 14 days—on air. The majority of his streams were in the Just Chatting category, which accounted for 201 hours (60%) of his total airtime.

In between those sessions, he hosted another one of his famous marathons, this time focusing on WB’s Batman: Arkham games. He spent about 45 hours streaming those four titles during the observed period.

2. nasdas_off (France)

nasdas_off is a French content creator known for his high-energy, unfiltered streams that blend humor and lifestyle commentary. With over 1.1m followers on Twitch, he’s grown a dedicated fanbase drawn to his charismatic personality and unpredictable content.

Nasdas’ streams often feature spontaneous interactions, pranks, and discussions on trending topics, making him a standout figure in the French streaming community.

Between January and April 2025, nasdas_off streamed for about 96 hours, with roughly 77 of those hours spent in the “Just Chatting” category. These sessions racked up over 4.6m hours watched and brought in more than 256,000 new followers. One standout moment was his “LIVE SPECIAL MEDIEVAL” stream on April 14, which made waves online thanks to its unique theme, good vibes, and wild content that even involved fire breathers.

3. CaseOh (USA)

CaseOh is a 27-year-old variety streamer from Arkansas who has rapidly ascended to the upper echelons of Twitch, grabbing a Content Creator of the Year award in the process.

Known for his energetic streams and magnetic personality, he’s built a massive following across multiple platforms, including over seven million followers on Twitch. CaseOh’s content is the definition of “variety,” as he’s constantly switching things up with new games almost every week.

From January to April 2025, CaseOh streamed for around 408 hours, with about 101 of those in the Just Chatting category, drawing nearly 4m hours watched. In 2025 so far, it was his streams of lesser-known indie titles like Schoolboy Runaway and Metel: Horror Escape that really stood out—averaging over 68,000 viewers.

4. AmineMaTue (France)

AmineMaTue is one of the biggest names on French Twitch. At this point, calling him just a “streamer” doesn’t quite cut it. He’s a showrunner, a hype machine, and one of the driving forces behind Twitch France’s booming scene.

Whether he’s hosting massive live events or chatting with fans about soccer, music, or whatever’s trending, Amine keeps the energy high. He’s also big on bringing the community together—whether it’s for a good cause or just a good laugh—and people always show up. He is kind of like a French Kai Cenat, if you will.

In 2025, Aminematue was live for just over 250 hours, with a healthy mix of Just Chatting, GTA 5, and high-production special events. His Kings League broadcasts averaged nearly 69,000 viewers, while his Just Chatting streams pulled in solid numbers with an average just under 40,000. What really stood out were his live specials, like the Stream for Humanity charity soccer match that peaked at over 600,000 viewers.

5. evelone2004 (Ukraine)

Real name Vadim Kozakov, evelone2004 is Ukraine’s biggest Twitch streamer of 2025. Though best known as a Counter-Strike streamer, he often branches out to try everything from new releases to retro classics. Like many popular Twitch personalities, Vadim’s content usually blends gameplay, commentary, and plenty of community interaction.

evelone2004’s Counter-Strike streams stood out, amounting to around 51 hours of airtime with over 73,000 average viewers. During the observed period, he also dove into Detroit: Become Human, the Definitive Editions of Mafia 1 and 2, and even the 2001 Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone game—never dipping below an average of 29,000 viewers.

6. Asmongold (USA)

Zackrawrr is the alternate Twitch channel of Zack “Asmongold” Hoyt, a well-known American content creator. He gained fame with World of Warcraft videos but has also covered other video games and topics related to gaming culture.

Over the years, his content started leaning more and more into politics. While he insists he’s politically neutral, Asmongold faced accusations of nurturing a toxic alt-right community. But given how he’s currently more popular than ever, it would appear such controversies only promoted his content.

Between January and April 2025, ZackRawrr streamed for over 700 hours, with Just Chatting sessions accounting for approximately 536 hours. He also streamed various games, including Monster Hunter Wilds and Assassin’s Creed Shadows.

7. Caedrel (United Kingdom)

Real name Marc Lamont, Caedrel is an ex-pro League of Legends player turned full-time streamer adn coach. After retiring from competitive play in 2020, he became a fan-favorite LoL EMEA Championship caster before shifting to full-time streaming in 2023.

Known for his sharp game knowledge and dry wit, Caedrel has built one of the most-watched League of Legends channels on Twitch, often co-streaming major tournaments and breaking down high-level plays for his audience. He’s currently the biggest UK Twitch streamer, based on average viewers.

From January to April 2025, Caedrel streamed nearly 946 hours, with over 869 hours dedicated to—what else but—League of Legends. He also explored other games like Minecraft and Red Dead Redemption 2, offering his community a bit of casual content to counterbalance all that LoL analysis.

8. yuuri22 (Brazil)

Yuri Brida, better known as yuuri22, is a Brazilian Twitch streamer who’s carved out a unique space in the streaming world. Once a professional Garena Free Fire player, Yuri eventually transitioned to full-time streaming, bringing his competitive edge and magnetic personality to a wider audience.

These days, real-life events and casual chatting make up about half of his monthly content output, though he still dives into plenty of games.

His Just Chatting sessions stood out, averaging nearly 45,000 viewers and peaking at close to 95,000. He also explored games like Minecraft and Among Us. His involvement in events like the Kings League added even more variety to his content, cementing his spot as a top figure in the Brazilian Twitch scene.

9. loud_coringa (Brazil)

Victor “Coringa” Augusto is another major Twitch streamer from Brazil who—like yuuri22—got his start as a Garena Free Fire pro before shifting to full-time streaming. These days, his content leans heavily toward GTA 5, Valorant, and various battle royale games.

He also covers real-life events like the Kings League and occasionally dabbles in whatever game is trending, just usually not for long. In 2025, Coringa streamed for over 600 hours, dedicating a large chunk of that time to Grand Theft Auto 5 and Just Chatting. His GTA 5 streams alone pulled in nearly 10 million hours watched.

10. PaulinhoLOKObr (Brazil)

PaulinhoLOKObr is one of Brazil’s most chaotic streamers. Known for his signature laugh, he mainly focuses on GTA roleplay content, though his streams occasionally feature competitive games and just vibing in front of the camera.

During the first third of 2025, Paulinho racked up over 8.6 million hours watched across 240 hours of streaming. Most of that came from GTA 5, which he streamed for over 190 hours, averaging 38,000 viewers. He also hosted major Kings League watchalongs, drawing close to 30,000 viewers on average.

11. buster (Russia)

Vyacheslav “Slava” Leontiev, better known by his online moniker Buster, is a 28-year-old Russian streamer with 4.5m Twitch followers. Originally aiming for a career in professional gaming, health challenges led him to pivot toward content creation.

Since launching his Twitch channel in 2015, the Moscow-based creator has built serious momentum, to the point he earned a spot on Forbes’ “30 Under 30” list in 2021 for his influence in the “New Media” space. Most of Buster’s content is a mix of Just Chatting and Counter-Strike. He also dabbled in about a dozen other games—like Fortnite, Split Fiction, and FragPunk—though only for a few hours each.

12. Ibai (Spain)

Spanish Twitch streamer Ibai Llanos began his career as a League of Legends caster before becoming a full-time streamer. Over the years, he emerged as one of the most influential Spanish-language streamers, amassing over 17m Twitch followers.

Ibai’Ä’s success snowballed to the point he co-founded the esports organization Movistar KOI with former footballer Gerard Piqué and hosted numerous high-profile events, including the massively popular La Velada del Año (“the night of the year”) boxing series.

Between January and April 2025, Ibai streamed for approximately 191 hours, amassing over 6.19 million hours watched. His biggest broadcast during the observed period was the latest edition of La Velada del Año, which peaked at over 791,000 viewers and averaged more than 536,000 of them on March 10.

13. Papaplatte (Germany)

Kevin “Papaplatte” Teller is Germany’s top Twitch streamer 2025. Known for his laid-back style, Kevin creates streams that feel more like hanging out with a friend than watching a show. Since launching his Twitch channel in 2013, Papaplatte has built a massive fanbase, with over 2.8m followers. His content is wildly diverse, as evidenced by his recent numbers.

During the first four months of 2025, Papaplatte streamed 58 different categories, spending at least four hours on each of his top 20. Perhaps surprisingly, his most consistently viewed streams were two sessions of Fast Food Simulator, which averaged over 44,000 viewers back in January.

14. plaqueboymax (USA)

Maxwell Elliot Dent, better known as plaqueboymax, is a 22-year-old Twitch streamer from West Orange, New Jersey. While he’ll boot up games on an occasion, plaqueboymax’s streams are nowadays largely focused on music production and Just Chatting. In 2024, he joined FaZe Clan, solidifying his place as a rising force in the streaming world.

From January to April 2025, plaqueboymax streamed for over 537 hours, racking up about 17.29 million hours watched. Just Chatting made up the bulk of his content but he also devoted nearly 69 hours to music streams, which averaged close to 36,000 hours.

15. Tumblurr (Italy)

Gianmarco “Tumblurr” Tocco is currently the biggest Italian streamer, as well as one of the loudest voices in the Kings League scene. His soccer and gaming content blends commentary and banter in a way that feels like watching sports with friends.

Before going full-time on Twitch, the 29-year-old was a pro Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 player who gained early fame on YouTube with his trickshot videos, eventually launching his Twitch channel in 2017. In early 2025, his Kings League coverage alone brought in close to 6 million hours watched across 112 hours of content, peaking at over 232,000 viewers.

16. HasanAbi (USA)

Hasan “HasanAbi” Piker is part news anchor, part variety streamer, and all personality. Whether he’s breaking down US legislation, reacting to viral TikToks, or ranting about politics, his streams have become a go-to space for his massive online community.

Hasan blends sharp analysis with memes and humor, keeping things engaging even when the topics get heavy. He’s no stranger to controversy or Twitch bans, which only seems to fuel his popularity. And when he’s not in the spotlight for something he said, it’s often for who he might be dating.

From January to April 2025, Hasan streamed a staggering 863 hours, racking up over 26m hours watched, with nearly all of it being in Just Chatting. That’s where he thrives: Watching the news live, debating with chat, and diving into trending topics in real time.

17. EliasN97 (Germany)

Elias “eliasn97” Nerlich is one of the most dependable heavy-hitters on German Twitch. A former amateur footballer turned full-time content creator, Elias blends laid-back energy with sharp instincts for what keeps people watching.

After suffering a fibula fracture while playing soccer in 2016, he was bed-ridden and spent a lot of time playing FIFA. He improved so much that he eventually launched YouTube and Twitch channels in 2018, entertaining masses with his skills and esports insights.

A huge chunk of his 2025 streaming came from special events, where he pulled tens of thousands of viewers commentating on various gaming tournaments. Just Chatting was his next go-to, raking in 5.6m hours watched. He also put serious time into Valorant, Among Us, and Elden Ring, among over a dozen other games.

18. s1mple (Ukraine)

Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev is widely considered one of the greatest Counter-Strike players of all time. Born in Ukraine in 1997, he began his pro career in 2013 and has since played for elite teams like Natus Vincere and, more recently, FaZe Clan.

Known for his deadly accuracy with the AWP and aggressive playstyle, s1mple has racked up countless accolades, including multiple HLTV Player of the Year awards. His Twitch streams give fans a front-row seat to his high-level gameplay and deep game knowledge. While he doesn’t stream as often as full-time creators, every session delivers sharp insights into the strategies and mechanics that made him a CS legend.

19. IlloJuan (Spain)

IlloJuan, real name Juan Alberto García Gámez, is a Spanish Twitch streamer and YouTuber known for his comedic content. The 30-year-old Málaga native initially pursued a career in law before transitioning to content creation.

IlloJuan began his online journey with the YouTube channel LMDShow, where he gained popularity through humorous videos and gameplay summaries. In 2015, he started streaming on Twitch, gradually building a loyal fan base that currently spans over 4.3 million followers.

20. MontanaBlack (Germany)

MontanaBlack88, real name Marcel Eris, is a German Twitch streamer and YouTuber who’s built a massive following, mostly thanks to his unfiltered personality. He streams everything from games to IRL moments and special events. He’s also gained attention—and respect—for being open about his past struggles with drug addiction.

Monte’s three most popular categories were all non-gaming-related: Special Events, IRL, and Just Chatting, in that order. That said, he did stream nearly a full day’s worth of gameplay from the evergreen survival classic that is Rust, which pulled over 20,000 average viewers.

Biggest streamers of selected countries

The global top 20 gives us a solid picture of Twitch’s biggest names—but only scratches the surface of the platform’s true diversity. During our research, we found more huge streamers in countries that didn’t crack the main list, uncovering regional powerhouses who command impressive audiences in their home markets.

xQc (Canada)

Félix “xQc” Lengyel is Canada’s biggest streamer and former professional Overwatch player hailing from Quebec. After a rollercoaster esports career—complete with accolades, controversies, and a stint with the Dallas Fuel in the Overwatch League—xQc made the jump to full-time streaming in 2018.

xQc’s easygoing personality and unfiltered commentary quickly built him a massive following, making him one of Twitch’s most recognizable faces. In June 2023, he signed a landmark $70m deal with Kick (potentially rising to $100m), but continued to stream on Twitch as well.

Quackity (Mexico)

Alexis “Quackity” Maldonado, born in 2000, is a Mexican content creator who has been active on Twitch and YouTube since 2013. He rose to fame in 2018 with his “Discord Got Talent” video series and is also known for his comedic Minecraft streams and variety content. Currently, Quackity has 6.4m followers on Twitch and 6.1m subscribers on YouTube.

kato_junichi0817 (Japan)

Junichi Kato, formerly known as Unko-chan, is currently the biggest Japanese Titch streamer by several metrics, including average viewer count.

In March 2022, Kato’s wedding stream attracted over 120,000 viewers and $1.8 million worth of donations. More recently, he made the rounds online with a controversial stream discussing his affair with adult star Ai Hongo, which attracted more than 295,000 viewers.

So far, Kato streamed for a staggering 1,155 hours this year, amassing nearly 30 million hours watched. His content spanned various genres, with significant airtime dedicated to Just Chatting, Valorant, and Overwatch 2.

Thebausffs (Sweden)

Simon “Thebausffs” Hofverberg is a professional League of Legends player who currently plays top lane for the UK-based team Los Ratones. At 25 years old, he has been streaming on Twitch since 2015, where he’s gained 1.5m followers with his gameplay. Simon launched a YouTube channel in 2019 and reached over one million subscribers six years later.

Unboxholics (Greece)

Simon “Unboxholics,” born in 1986, is a Greek content creator focused on tech and gaming. He started his YouTube channel in 2012 and launched his Twitch channel two years later. Best known for his entertaining unboxings and detailed gadget reviews, he has built a following of 1.1m subscribers on YouTube and over 480,000 followers on Twitch.

MartinCirioOk (Argentina)

Gustavo Mariano Martín Frattini Cirio, better known as MartinCirioOk, is an Argentine content creator who has been streaming on Twitch since 2020. He’s known for his Just Chatting streams, which feature humorous storytelling, sketches, and social commentary. Born in 1984, he has around 374,000 followers on Twitch as of June 2025, along with a YouTube channel boasting over 1m subscribers.

YoungMulti (Poland)

Michał “YoungMulti” Rychlik is a 28-year-old Polish streamer and musician who has been active on Twitch since 2012. He regularly switches between gaming and Just Chatting streams, building an audience of 1.34 million followers on Twitch and 2.19 million subscribers on YouTube. While his Twitch content focuses on streaming, his YouTube channel is almost entirely dedicated to rap and trap music.

wtcN (Turkey)

Ferit “wtcN” Karakaya is a 1993-born Turkish content creator and former pro League of Legends player who began streaming on Twitch in 2013. Since then, he has grown his audience to nearly three million followers. While he used to play a wider variety of games, wtcN spent the entire first half of 2025 streaming only Valorant.

Necros (Serbia)

Vladan “Necros” Konstantinov is a Serbian Overwatch DPS player turned streamer. Born in 1999, he’s been active on Twitch since he was 17, amassing nearly 900,000 followers as of today. Throughout the first half of 2025, Necros streamed nearly eight hours a day on average, mostly dedicating himself to Marvel Rivals. While he still plays Overwatch 2, he hasn’t streamed it since November 2024.

juansguarnizo (Colombia)

Born in 1997, Juan Sebastián Guarnizo Algarra is a Colombian-Mexican content creator who’s been active on Twitch since 2016. He’s the definition of a variety streamer, having streamed in 56 different categories in the first half of 2025 alone. As of today, JuanSGuarnizo has 11.5m Twitch followers. He’s also been operating a YouTube channel mostly dedicated to reaction videos, which amassed 6.3m subscribers since 2018.

itsKatchii (Philippines)

itsKatchii, real first name Julianna, is a German-Filipino-American Twitch streamer and YouTuber. Within a year of starting her Twitch channel in 2024, the 1999-born content creator already grew it to nearly 160,000 followers. She’s best known for upbeat Just Chatting streams, POV adventures in the Philippines, and varied collaborations with other streamers. As of June 2025, she also has over 132,000 YouTube subscribers.

YoongiPDNIM (South Korea)

YoongiPDNIM is a casual South Korean streamer known mainly within the BTS fandom, with most of his content centered around the popular boy band. Despite his channel being named after BTS member Min Yoon-gi, also known as Suga, he has no official affiliation with the group. Between October 2023 and February 2025, he gained around 15,200 subscribers on Twitch. However, he has not been active on the platform since.

The future of Twitch is global—but not equal

This year’s list proves that Twitch stardom is global, evolving, and more competitive than ever. From France to Brazil, Ukraine to the US, creators are building massive audiences not just through gameplay, but by fostering connection, culture, and consistency.

But even as the platform grows more international, some visible gaps remain. Notably, none of the current top 20 biggest streamers are women, which is a reminder that gender representation at the highest levels of Twitch is still lagging behind.

As Twitch expands beyond its traditional strongholds, the streamers leading the way are those who understand that big numbers come and go, but real community sticks around.
