TL;DR
  • Spotify briefly showed info linking Cardi B and Fuerza Regida to a GTA VI album before it was taken down.
  • No screenshots, song titles, or official confirmation have surfaced, and the reason for the removal is unknown.
  • Even if the listing is real, being on an album doesn't guarantee a song will play on in-game radio.

Cardi B and Fuerza Regida may be part of Grand Theft Auto VI music. Or they may not.

Information linking the rapper and the Mexican-American band to an album tied to Grand Theft Auto VI briefly appeared on Spotify. The information was then removed.

A spot on a GTA-branded album doesn’t mean a song will play on a radio station in the game.

Rockstar has split its music up before. The Music of Grand Theft Auto V came out in 2013 in separate volumes for original music, the score, and selected radio tracks. The full in-game radio list was much bigger than any single release.

Trailer music works the same way. The first GTA VI trailer in December 2023 used Tom Petty’s “Love Is a Long Road.” The second trailer used The Pointer Sisters’ “Hot Together.” Neither song is confirmed for in-game radio.

Rockstar does work directly with big artists, though. GTA Online has had Frank Ocean’s blonded Los Santos 97.8, a MOTOMAMI Los Santos station with Rosalía and Arca, and new Dr. Dre music in The Contract update.
