“Shh… Hush is here.”
That’s how VALORANT introduced its newest character. Hush carries the Agent 31 designation, and she arrived in a stylish reveal trailer.
The video gives fans their first look at her. It doesn’t give a full breakdown of how she’ll play.
The trailer’s description says Hush is from Guangdong, the province in southern China that includes major cities like Guangzhou and Shenzhen. No specific hometown has been shared.
Hush speaks Cantonese in the trailer. The language has deep roots in Guangdong and is also widely used in Hong Kong, Macau, and communities around the world.
She isn’t VALORANT‘s first Chinese agent. Sage, a Sentinel, and Iso, a Duelist, are also from China. Riot hasn’t shared any story links between Hush and either of them.
Her real name, age, job, and backstory are also still unknown.
What can she do?
The short answer is that nobody knows for sure yet.
Viewers spotted effects that look like teleporting, pulling enemies in, and making them float. One fan guessed the floating could be her ultimate.
None of this is confirmed. Trailer effects don’t always match how abilities actually work in a match. There are no official ability names, descriptions, or numbers yet.
Her role is also unknown. VALORANT sorts agents into four classes. Duelists take fights, Initiators open up engagements, Controllers block sightlines, and Sentinels hold areas. Some fans are already planning to play her as a Duelist, but Riot hasn’t given her a class.
Every agent normally gets three regular abilities, including a signature ability, plus an ultimate. Players will need the full kit before anyone can judge how strong she is.
