VALORANT pro Kajetan “kaajak” Haremski started a fundraiser after his brother suffered two strokes and now faces a long rehabilitation process.

Kaajak’s brother suffered two strokes in May 2025. The second one left him unable to walk, talk, or even eat on his own. At age 32, Kaajak’s brother was placed in a rehabilitation facility, but the costs are too expensive for his family.

Strokes happen when blood flow to part of the brain is cut off or when a vessel ruptures. Recovery usually involves a multidisciplinary team of neurologists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and speech-language specialists. Progress is typically fastest in the first months, but survivors can keep making gains for years with sustained therapy and support.

Kaajak is a Polish VALORANT player active in the European competitive scene. He has been playing with Fnatic since 2024, placing second in both VALORANT Masters Toronto and VALORANT Champions 2025.

How to help

The fundraiser is hosted on a Polish platform and written in Polish. International donations appear to be possible via Visa or Mastercard, though supporters should expect currency conversion fees. Poland’s currency is the złoty (PLN), with $1 currently worth roughly 4 PLN, though rates shift daily.

Anyone planning to donate should make sure they are using the official, verified fundraiser link before sending money.
