MMA fighter and content creator Ronaldo “Ronnie” Quan used a recent livestream to accuse a former girlfriend of physically and verbally abusing him, blocking him from leaving their home, threatening to report his family to immigration authorities, and controlling money raised after he broke his leg.
Ronnie appeared to work from notes and said he had gone back through his evidence before going live to make sure his timeline was accurate. He also said he had been threatened with legal action for talking about the relationship at all.
According to his account, he recorded “almost everything.” He didn’t play any of it on stream, saying the material is being kept for possible court proceedings.
He said he began recording after she allegedly said abusive things to him. When she noticed, he claimed, she demanded he delete it. He said she believed the recording had stopped, and that the situation then turned physical.
Ronnie alleged she tried to tackle him while grabbing for his phone, that he ended up injured on the ground, and that she laughed afterward.
He said he tried to leave and that she repeatedly stood in doorways to block him. He also claimed she refused to let him take his belongings at first, arguing that she had “made him” and that the items were therefore hers. He said she later threw his things out of the home and that some were broken.
Ronnie further alleged she threatened to call ICE, with the threat aimed at his family rather than himself. There’s no indication that any report was actually made.
He also claimed she called friends during the argument and loudly accused him of choking her three times so the people on the line would hear it. Ronnie said he took that as an attempt to paint him as the aggressor. Her version of that phone call isn’t public.
The fundraiser dispute
Ronnie broke his leg in an MMA fight, and supporters organized a fundraiser to help him afterward. He said the campaign was set up in her name, so the money landed in her account.
She allegedly told him the full amount had been passed on. Ronnie said he checked a spreadsheet and bank records, found a chunk missing, confronted her, and only then received the rest. He said he doesn’t count that as goodwill.
He also claimed she later demanded the money back, arguing it was hers because she organized the campaign.
Separately, Ronnie said he did video editing work for her and was paid through reduced rent rather than wages.
Ronnie didn’t identify the woman, and viewers immediately started guessing. That speculation isn’t confirmed, and no response from any accused party has been made public.
