Playing as Night Elves, Grubby was forbidden from building regular combat units and limited to one-handed play, forcing him to get creative against Tyler1’s defensive tower strategy.
The solution? Grubby uprooted his Night Elf buildings, which in Warcraft III can move like giant walking trees, and marched them straight into Tyler1’s base. The community quickly dubbed this the “March of the Ents” strategy, referencing the walking trees from The Lord of the Rings.
Tyler1, primarily known for his League of Legends expertise, was totally caught off guard by the tactic. Viewers reported his stunned reaction as the massive treants emerged from the fog of war and began dismantling his carefully constructed defenses.
