TL;DR
  • Keria says he has officially become the greatest support player in League of Legends history after years of chasing that goal.
  • The bold claim came after another huge T1 performance featuring a clutch Bard ultimate on an enemy Caitlyn.
  • Despite the GOAT statement, Keria admitted his Bard play isn't where he wants it and asked for more practice reps on the champion.

T1 support Ryu “Keria” Min-seok has officially called it. After years of stacking trophies and redefining the support role, the Korean star says he has reached the top of the mountain.

“Back then, I wanted to become the greatest support of all time,” Keria said in a recent post-match interview. “Now, I think I can confidently say that I’ve become the greatest support of all time.”

The statement is rare territory for a pro player. Most stars dodge GOAT talk and hand the credit to teammates. Keria skipped the modesty and went straight for the legacy stamp.

His résumé backs the claim up. Keria rose with DRX alongside Deft before joining T1 in 2021, where he’s been a central piece of the org’s modern dynasty alongside Faker, Oner, Gumayusi, and Zeus. Multiple Worlds titles, deep international runs, and a champion pool that bends drafts around him have made him the clearest support GOAT candidate in years.

The historical names he’s now placing himself above are heavy. Mata changed how the role thought about vision and macro. MadLife turned support into a highlight-reel position. BeryL stacked two Worlds wins across different orgs. Meiko and Ming carried the LPL torch for nearly a decade.
