League of Legends math shows The Collector pays for itself after 120 kills

TL;DR
  • A joke calculation shows The Collector's 25 bonus gold per kill covers its 3,000-gold price after 120 champion kills.
  • Selling the item for 2,100 gold cuts that to 36 kills, but then you no longer have the item.
  • A Mayhem augment claim lowers the number even more, though none of this is real build advice.

Good news for players who treat their build like a savings account. A joke calculation shows that The Collector pays for itself. All you need is 120 champion kills.

The math is simple. The calculation uses a 3,000-gold price and the item’s bonus of 25 extra gold per champion kill. 3,000 ÷ 25 = 120 kills.

That number only counts the extra gold the item adds. The normal gold you get for a kill doesn’t count. Neither do minions, objectives, or any other income.

No one has shown a match where a player actually did this. Getting 120 personal kills in one standard game is far beyond what even the most fed carry can reach. That’s the joke.

One commenter made the tone clear: “Some people really need to see the ‘Humor’ tag before commenting.”

Nobody buys The Collector to make money. Players buy it for damage. It gives attack damage, crit chance, and lethality. It also has an execute that kills champions you leave below 5% health.

The bonus gold is a small extra. This calculation treats that extra as the item’s only job.
