A newly surfaced trademark filing for the name Kingdom Come Salvation suggests Warhorse Studios has picked a title for its next entry in the historical RPG franchise.
The filing appears to protect a title tied to the Kingdom Come series, whose only mainline games so far are Kingdom Come: Deliverance (2018) and Kingdom Come: Deliverance II (2025).
The switch from “Deliverance” to “Salvation” is the interesting part. It hints that Warhorse may treat Henry’s two-game arc as finished and start a new chapter under the wider Kingdom Come banner, rather than shipping a Deliverance III.
That’s a reading, not a fact. Warhorse hasn’t publicly confirmed the title, and a trademark doesn’t confirm a game exists in full production.
Studios file names early all the time. Some get used, some get renamed, some get parked defensively, and some never see daylight. Publishers also register multiple candidate titles and only pick one.
Everyone wants the Hussite Wars
The filing tells us almost nothing beyond branding. It doesn’t confirm the protagonist, the setting, the story, the platforms, the scope, or a release window. It also doesn’t confirm whether Salvation is a full sequel, a spinoff, a standalone project, or something smaller.
The subtitle has fueled one popular theory. “Salvation” carries obvious religious weight, which has fans pointing at the Hussite movement and the Hussite Wars in Bohemia as a possible setting.
It fits thematically. Jan Hus was executed for heresy in 1415, and the wars that followed ran roughly from 1419-1434, packed with religious conflict, shifting factions, sieges, early firearms, and commanders like Jan Žižka. That is very much Kingdom Come material. However, it remains pure speculation. The trademark says nothing about it.
