Sykkuno posted a public statement admitting he was unfaithful to his girlfriend and lied to others about his relationship status.
“I was unfaithful and I own and fully admit to that,” the streamer wrote. “I lied to people and told them I was single, which I know is not right.”
The statement follows allegations that circulated online involving leaked audio and documents. While Sykkuno acknowledged wrongdoing, he also claimed some accusations against him are false, though he didn’t specify which ones.
“I cannot allow false accusations and such extreme labels to be placed on me,” he wrote, without elaborating on what those labels or specific claims were.
Sykkuno announced he’s taking a break from streaming and the internet to work on himself and his relationship. He explained the delayed response by saying he and his girlfriend were already addressing their issues privately before everything became public.
His girlfriend included her own message in the post. She confirmed she’s staying in the relationship and attempting to repair it, but her primary focus was on the violation of their privacy.
“Though no matter how broken I am, I never wanted this to be public,” she wrote. “It deeply hurts me that I wasn’t given a choice in that, or even just warned that this would be happening at all.”
The girlfriend emphasized that before the allegations went public, they were already making changes and working through their problems together. She said she doesn’t believe the situation is “irredeemable” and hopes time allows for healing.
