Asmongold has announced he’ll start streaming on Kick while continuing his presence on Twitch and YouTube. The move is part of a growing trend of content creators “multistreaming” across multiple platforms simultaneously rather than signing exclusive deals.

“If any other streamer needs help setting this up, I have the hookups. It’s not that big of a deal,” Asmongold told his audience, offering assistance to fellow creators interested in expanding to Kick.
Despite Kick’s reputation for gambling content and its financial backing from stake.com founders, Asmongold made it clear he won’t be streaming slots or other gambling content on the platform. This stance distances him from one of Kick’s most controversial aspects while still allowing him to benefit from the platform’s more lenient content moderation.
The decision looks strategic rather than financially motivated. There’s no sign of an exclusive contract or signing bonus between Asmongold and Kick, so this move seems to be all about reaching more viewers.
When asked why he wouldn’t stream exclusively on YouTube, Asmongold pointed to worries about DMCA and copyright strikes, especially for reaction content. YouTube’s stricter copyright enforcement can mess with his business model, since the platform hosts most of his edited highlights and clips.
Kick has been getting more attention from streamers thanks to its friendlier revenue splits and looser content rules. The platform is positioning itself as a Twitch competitor, though it still trails when it comes to a built-in audience.
Asmongold’s income stays spread out across Twitch, YouTube, sponsorships, and business projects like OTK (One True King), the gaming group he co-founded.
