Atrioc has responded on stream to recent posts from Pokimane about how she feels about him showing up in her circles again. He’s also pulled out of a TwitchCon panel.

Pokimane said she wasn’t comfortable with Atrioc being around people and events in her wider creator network. That includes shared social spaces, collabs, and mutual friends.

Atrioc accepts that Pokimane doesn’t have to forgive him or feel comfortable around him. He also talks about whether he can keep accepting invites, keep his friendships, and stay part of the creator scene.

Why this goes back to 2023

In January 2023, a browser tab showed up on Atrioc’s stream. It showed a website that sold access to nonconsensual sexual deepfakes of female streamers. The images were fake, AI-made content, not real photos. Pokimane was one of the creators reportedly featured on the site.

Atrioc admitted paying to access the site and gave a tearful apology. Soon after, he announced he was stepping back from content creation and from OFFBRAND, the creator agency he co-founded.

He later returned to streaming. He said he’d paid to help take deepfake content down, working with a law firm and the takedown company Ceartas.

Atrioc never claimed to have made or shared the deepfakes. The case was about him buying access to them.
