Erick “aspas” Santos is reportedly looking for a new team.

The Brazilian duelist is one of VALORANT‘s biggest names. Any sign that he’s open to offers will get the attention of every top team.

Aspas may not be the only player looking for a new home. MIBR has reportedly moved its entire roster to inactive status and given the players permission to explore their options.

Why everyone cares

Aspas isn’t a prospect. He’s a world champion.

He won VALORANT Champions 2022 with LOUD. LOUD beat OpTic Gaming three-one in the grand final in Istanbul and became the first Brazilian team to lift the Champions trophy. That roster also had Less, Sacy, Saadhak, and pANcada.

In 2023, LOUD won the first VCT Americas league title. The team then finished third at Champions 2023.

Aspas moved to Leviatán for 2024. He helped the team win VCT Americas Stage two and finish third at Champions 2024.

He joined MIBR ahead of the 2025 season. He built his name on Jett and Raze, and few players in the world take fights with more confidence.
