The moment drawing the most attention involves Matan floating a hypothetical about whether he would slap Deen if he had power over him. Instead of engaging with the premise, Deen appeared to hear only the word “slap” and launched into a literal, combative response, missing the point entirely.

From there, things didn’t get smoother. A moment showed Deen seemingly unfamiliar with Napoleon, followed by a bizarre self-defense in which he compared himself to being “the same size as a bitch laying down in a bed.”
Matan, for his part, leaned into the format that made him famous. The comedian and podcaster, best known for crashing the stage at The 2022 Game Awards during the Elden Ring speech, runs interviews designed to make guests squirm. Soft-spoken needling, absurd premises, and awkward pauses are the whole bit, and Deen kept walking into them.
