Destiny has revived one of the internet’s messiest dog debates.
While reviewing a video featuring Hasan Piker and Nick “Nmplol” Polom, Destiny stopped on a section where Hasan is outside with his dog Kaya. She’s off leash. Hasan gives her verbal directions, she wanders, then stops and comes back.
Destiny alleged that what viewers were watching wasn’t pure training, but Hasan quietly triggering an electronic collar.
The clip doesn’t clearly shows Hasan using a shock collar on his dog. Kaya moves around, Hasan talks to her, Kaya responds. Some viewers zoomed in on his hand and pocket and decided he was holding a remote. The footage doesn’t clearly show a remote, a thumb pressing anything, or any confirmation that Kaya’s collar was even switched on.
Kaya appears to be walking off leash on what looks like a public street. Viewers raised the usual concerns: traffic, other dogs, and how little control you have when something goes wrong.
Hasan hasn’t responded to Destiny’s claim.
