Ethan Klein, who hosts the H3 Podcast, shared images of an unsettling delivery on his Instagram, showing the skulls with detached jaws and missing teeth.
The skulls came with tags from Skullsunlimited.com, a legitimate commercial seller of human osteological specimens, confirming their authenticity.
According to the website, these specimens retail for over $1,000 each, meaning whoever sent them spent a lot of money.
A part of a larger harassment campaign, the skulls showed up around the same time Klein’s family had a visit from Child Protective Services (CPS). Both situations are linked to the online hatred directed at the creator.
Klein has been involved in several high-profile feuds with other content creators in recent months, especially in the far-left political commentary world with streamers like Hasan Piker and Denims.
The harassment campaign aimed at Klein has included doxxing, swatting attempts, and now the delivery of human remains, showing a worrying increase in real-world intimidation tactics against online personalities.
While human skulls can be legally purchased for medical, scientific, or collection reasons in some places, sending them uninvited to someone’s home is crossing the line. Nobody knows for sure who sent the package, but there’s speculation that whoever did it may have used stolen payment information.
This whole thing is making people even more worried about creator safety, especially as online fights spill over into real-life harassment. Content creators are having to deal with serious, sometimes scary, fallout from internet beefs, with tactics getting more extreme and more personal.
